Edward collaborates with other musicians regularly. Here are some of the ensembles and projects he is part of:
Twenty-Six Other-Worlds is a five-piece local Progressive Metal band. They are regular performers in local high-profile events and venues and have also performed in a mini-tour in Denmark. Releases include the EP Manipulated (2009) and the single The Quiet Place (2016).
Twenty-Six Other-Worlds are Chris Grech (vocals), Adrian ‘Skid’ Zammit (guitars), Steve Said Sarreo (guitars), Edward Mifsud (keyboards), Cedric Debono (bass) and Jonathan ‘Luni’ Briffa (drums).
Edward regularly works with Dorothy Bezzina, a renowned vocalist and versatile performer with great vocal flexibility. As a duo, they perform regularly in wedding masses, receptions, functions and other events.
Salesian Worship Team
The Salesian Worship Team is a group within the Salesian Oratory in Sliema, made up of 35 young people, aged 14 to 30, committed to animating liturgical celebrations at the Salesian Oratory Chapel. These include the 19:30 Sunday mass, adorations and masses on the important dates in the Church’s Liturgical Calendar at the Salesian Oratory Chapel, wedding masses, religious professions and first masses. Edward is the founder and current leader of the group.
Chris Grech & Band
Chris Grech & Band is Progressive Rock band composed of Chris Grech (vocals), David Cassar Torregiani (guitars), Edward Mifsud (keys), Robert Galea (bass) and Mark Cortis (drums).
Honourable mentions include participation in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest (2014), gigs at the Farsons Beer Festival (2015 & 2016) and TV appearances on Ilsien in-Nisa (2015) and Ħadd Ghalik (2016).
Brown Sugar – the Desi Campbell Band
Brown Sugar is a band formed by Desi Campbell and performs an eclectic mix of original & classic covers ranging from Al Jarreau, Jack Johnson, Everyday People to Toto, Bob Marley, Floy Joy, Nat King Cole, D’angelo, Robin Thicke, Barry White, Raul Midon.
The band is made up of Edward Mifsud (keys), Marc Alan Spiteri (guitars), Aaron Dimech (bass), Jean-Luc Camilleri (drums), Clive Micallef (saxophone) and Ylenia Vella (backing vocals)
